Iran - The students receive prison sentence

NCRI - Tehran -On Sunday February 22, 2016 a Court in Tehran condemned a student activists Arash Sadeghi, to 19 years imprisonment by Judge Arabpoor, and also his wife Golrokh Iriai (Ebrahimi) condemned to 6 years imprisonment. Arash Sadeghi, his wife Golrokh Iriai (Ebrahimi), Behnam Mosivand and Navid Kamran were violently arrested in September 2014 by the intelligence organization of the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC).
Arash Sadeghi, his wife Golrokh Iriai (Ebrahimi), Behnam Mosivand and Navid Kamran Mr. Sadeghi’s mother suffered a heart attack at the time of his arrest and died a few days later.Arash Sadeghi, a student in Allameh University, has already spent seven months in solitary confinement. Amnesty International said in a statement Student activist Arash Sadeghi, 26, is protesting against his inhumane treatment and is believed to be at risk of torture and in need of urgent medical care, Amnesty International said in a statement. Arash Sadeqi launched his hunger strike on March 15 in protest to brutal torture committed by the regime’s prison guards. Mr. Sadeqi’s shoulder and ribs were broken as a result of torture.
