The real rule in Syria is by the mullahs of Iran

NCRI - The major power in the region without whose military support Assad would long ago have vanished: the dictatorship run by the Shia mullahs in Tehran.

Ever since his country fell apart, Assad's main support has been the Quds Force, the extra-territorial arm of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Crops. For years it has been fomenting terror across the Middle East, from Lebanon to Afghanistan and not least in Iraq, where its backing for Shia militias posed the most deadly threat to US and British forces throughout their post-2003 occupation.
But in recent months the Quds Force in Syria has taken a very serious hit. Many of its senior officers, including its commander, Brigadier-General Hossein Hamedani, have been killed – and even the Force’s overall commander, Qassem Suleiman, has reportedly been injured.

Call against injustice and oppression of prisoners in Iran

Injustice and oppression against prisoners, in particular  prisoners
on the rise.

The regime's henchmen in Gohardasht Prison have increased pressures on Sunni prisoners and transferred some of them to Ward 8 where known as the "Intelligence Ward" and placed them under torture. Simultaneous, hundreds of political and ordinary prisoners in wards 6 and 7, of Zahedan Central Prison have come down with a viral disease. Regime’s henchmen have done nothing to treat the patients or to stop the spread of the virus. The Iranian Resistance calls on all international human rights agencies, especially the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UN Special Rapporteur on condition of human rights in Iran, and the Rapporteur on torture, to take urgent measures to investigate the condition of prisoners and in particular political prisoners in Iran. It urges the dispatch of a commission to probe the dire condition of regime’s prisons and prisoners.
