Washington Post: "the nature of the Iranian regime has not altered at all"

NCRI - Washington columnist: "Hassan Rouhani is not Mikhail Gorbachev, Iran is not opening up or becoming more Western or somehow more liberal." This week in the Washington Post the writer said: "the level of repression inside the country has grown since the 'moderate' Rouhani was elected in 2013. Including: Political pressure and Religious discrimination have increased, cultural dissidents are under pressure, death sentences has risen, executions carried out the largest number in the world except for China. The writer concludes, change has come to Middle Eastern diplomacy, but change has not come to Iran. And until it does, Iran will remain a source of instability and violence all across the region.

The Iranian Resistance demand of all those who are against fundamentalism to Participate in rally & demonstration to show their support of freedom and democracy.

NCRI - Solidarity against Extremism under Banner of Islam

Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of Iranian Resistance held a solidarity of French mayors against Extremism at headquarters of Iranian Resistance in Auvers-Sur-Oise on January 24, 2016. Maryam Rajavi started in memory of all those who lost their lives as a result of extremist crimes in 2015, including the political prisoners executed in Iran, Camp Liberty martyrs, and victims of terrorist attack in France. The statements signed by 14,000 mayors and elect representatives of France in support of the Iranian Resistance, are very precious documents. They express the great values of France.
Also your political stances over the years have been admirable. Time and again, you warned against a number of threats: the mullahs' nuclear weapons; Islamic fundamentalism; violations of human rights in Iran and the mullahs' domination of the region. Last year  the eyes of the world opened to a major challenge, the challenge of mass killings of innocent people in the name of God. But it is reversing the message of Islam and its not true. After nuclear agreement, the Iranian regime didn't move towards moderation but they moved in the other direction. The Iranian economy has spent  on the war agians people in Syria, Iraq and Yemen. They intervene officially in region countries, including attack on Saudi Arabia embassy on January 2, 2016 in Tehran. The Iranian regime is the main cause of instability, war and terrorism in the region, and the tide of refugees. The people of Iran demand that the international community and France in particular stand by the Iranian people's Resistance in their struggle against the epicenter of extremism, namely the Iranian regime, to achieve freedom and human rights.

Iran - Why can't 'Hassan Rouhani' be a moderate

Sunday Telegraph

NCRI- The West countries look to Rouhani as a 'moderate' and one of the 'good guys' but Iranian people and resistance know very well that he represents the fundamentalism idea. Mr. Booker wrote in the January 24 edition of The Sunday Telegraph: "For a start the real power in Iran lies not with Rouhani but with its Supreme Leader, the Ayatollah Khamenei, who is directly responsible the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), Iran’s equivalent of the old Soviet KGB, imposing ruthless order at home and supporting terror across the Middle East." Hassan Rouhani is the president of the regime who has been supported of Assad regime in Syria since 2011by the IRGC and barrel bombs and all. The parer added:
"Since the 'moderate' Rouhani took office in 2013, Iran has embarked on what Amnesty International calls 's staggering execution spree', giving it the highest per capita state-killing rate in journalists, Christians and anyone who can be viewed as a political or religious dissident - in obedience, as Rouhani said in 2014, to 'God's commandments'."
