The prominent
al-Azhar University of Egypt issued a statement condemning the
destruction of a Sunni mosque in Tehran's Ponak district, describing it
as an act in violation of all principles, morals and values in our
modern world.
Maryam Rajavi Iranian opposition leader condemns this act of repressive measures, anti-Islamic and sectarians by the mullahs' regime's. She called on the international community, defenders of human rights and freedom of opinion to condemn this suppressive measure
"As long as
this regime is in power, execution, torture, repression, oppression and
double discrimination against various ethnic groups and followers of
other religions continues, and this disaster will only end by changing
the regime and the establishment of democracy and popular rule rather than the rule of the clergy ", Mrs. Rajavi added.
